Cutting Through the Chaos

My name is Christy Hallum and I am a blogger and professional organizer with my own company, Springs Treasures.

Have you ever needed to tell some fact about yourself but cannot think of anything exciting to say?  That’s where I am right now.  But I’ll give it a shot.

I am a wife, a mom and a proud Army spouse living in Colorado.  I came from an extremely small town in Virginia, and when I say small, I mean SMALL.  In elementary school I had to write a report on our town and I believe at the time there were less than 500 people residing there.  See, I wasn’t lying.

After marrying and moving overseas with my husband, I realized that we, as a society, have far too much stuff in life.  For that first move, we could only take a certain amount of stuff, limited to a specific weight.  I put considerable thought into what we would really need, what we would really use.  It was amazing to me how much “crap” I could get rid of and not miss a piece of it.

I began helping people that I knew clear the clutter out of their lives.  One day I realized that I should start a business doing exactly what I was doing as favors for friends.  That’s how Springs Treasures was born.

I truly love what I do.  People can get so bogged down under the clutter in their lives and not realize just how much it can weigh them down.  I love the satisfaction of seeing the literal, emotional and figurative weight leaving people’s lives.

I hope to now expand my business to help more people while expanding my life to it’s fullest capabilities.  I’d love for you to join me on this ride.
